Sesame Street: Street Mission at PortAventura World, Spain
My Role: Designer, and art director
Company: Sally Dark Rides
"Sesame Street is an active busting place and since the opening of Street Mission, it's also action-packed because Detective Grover is going on a secret mission. To carry it out, he will need help from some brave and daring families that are willing to embark on a thousand and one adventures as they travel through the world of Sesame Street."

Field Art Direction

My role as art director media was to be the vision keeper of the story and also to assist in the game play concept development and scene designs. I also managed the media vendor and acted as liaison between vendors, IP holder, client, local park management team, and Sally Dark Rides.
Art Direction Media - Project Mapped onto Scenic
I created the concept design for the Sesame Street Taxi Cab dark ride vehicle. The design was to add appliques to an existing ride vehicle shell and my 3D model was shared with the vendor for their team to translate into their engineering plans. It was also my responsibility to design a clue collector holster that would be mounted in the front and rear dash area to secure the clue collectors when not in use by guests.

3D Ride Vehicle Design

It was my pleasure to design the Clue Collector for this attraction. To design this device I did a great deal of research on other controllers and remotes as a guide for ergonomics. In addition we needed a button that would take a lot of use and would be easy for children to press. I created the design in 3D with all of those considerations in the design and we 3D printed prototypes to test with children for ease of use and comfort. My 3D design model was shared with our device supplier and they translated it into a production model.
